 “Oh, how abundant is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You and worked for those who take refuge in You!”

💖 The God Who Does Good

The Lord our God is the only One who fills our lives with true goodness.
It is a small thing for Him to do good — because His very nature is goodness itself.
He delights in blessing His children with all that is best for them.

✨ To Whom Does the Lord Do Good?

  1. He does good to those who trust Him wholeheartedly.

    • “The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.” — Lamentations 3:25
      Even when nothing seems certain, like Abraham, we must believe even when there is nothing to believe.

  2. He does good to those who believe in the Lord before men.

    • Like Job, who said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” — Job 13:15

    • Like David, who declared, “Blessed be the name of the Lord.” — Job 1:21
      Let us remain steadfast in our faith, even when situations challenge us.
      The God who did good to David and Job will surely do the same for us.

🌸 The Lord Delights in Those Who Fear Him

To fear the Lord is to honor, love, and walk in reverence before Him.
This holy fear keeps us away from evil and draws us closer to His blessings.

  • “By the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.” — Proverbs 16:6

  • “Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.” — Psalm 128:1

🌿 Blessings that Come from Fearing the Lord

1. Deliverance from the Snares of Death

  • “The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.” — Proverbs 14:27
    The Israelites lost favor when they turned away from God.

  • “My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters.” — Jeremiah 2:13
    When we drift away from prayer and Scripture, our spiritual life weakens.

  • “Those who turn away from You will be written in the dust.” — Jeremiah 17:13
    But Jesus promised:

  • “Whoever drinks of the water I give will never thirst.” — John 4:14

  • “Whoever believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” — John 7:38

2. Wisdom through Fear of the Lord

  • “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10

  • “The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom.” — Proverbs 15:33
    Daniel was found ten times wiser because he feared God above all.

  • “In him was found an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding.” — Daniel 5:11
    All wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ.

  • “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” — Colossians 2:3

🌾 The Rewards of Those Who Trust in the Lord

  1. Faith that is Unshakable

    • Those who trust the Lord build their lives on the Rock — Christ Himself.

    • “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on rock.” — Luke 6:48

  2. Blessings for Generations

    • “The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children's children.” — Psalm 103:17

  3. Finding Favor Before God

    • “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.” — Genesis 6:8
      Because Noah feared the Lord, he was preserved amid destruction.

  4. Abundant Peace and Prosperity

    • “Indeed, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.” — Psalm 128:4-6
