Forgiveness of Sins Acts 13:38 "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins." The greatest gift we can receive from God is forgiveness—the cleansing of our sins that frees us from guilt and restores our relationship with Him. Jesus Christ bore the punishment for our sins, even though no fault was found in Him, as recorded in Acts. This sacrifice opens the door for us to experience the wonders of God's blessings, as stated in Joshua 3:5 : "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you." To see the wonders of God in our lives, we must consecrate ourselves, seeking forgiveness and turning toward Him wholeheartedly. What is Sin? Sin, simply put, is going against the will of God.
